It’s always safest to erase your device of all personal information before sending it to us. However, rest assured that if you forget or don’t know how, we will reset your device back to factory settings upon receipt.

Important Steps Before Shipping
- Deactivate your phone from your carrier (this may have been done automatically when you upgraded)
- Remove any passcodes or locks — disable Find My iPhone, screen locks, and Google account locks
- Remove personal information — photos, contacts, messages, and saved passwords
- Remove your SIM card and SD card — TechPayout is not responsible for any cards left in devices
